10 Years Ensemble Paul Klee

Project

In 2015 the Zentrum Paul Klee (ZPK) is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Ensemble Paul Klee - the house ensemble of ZPK under the direction of Kaspar Zehnder - is celebrating its 10th anniversary too. The musicians are going to set with "The Tales of Hoffmann" by Jacques Offenbach a festive highlight.

From the beginning on Paul Klee's passion for music has taken an important place in the Zentrum Paul Klee. The Ensemble Paul Klee plays a special role of the multi-genre house in addition to its versatile concert activities. As a house ensemble it establishes the link directly to the artists themselves. The programs with musicians around Kaspar Zehnder and their guests include works which were greatly appreciated by Klee (such as Bach, Beethoven and Mozart) or which were created by his contemporaries (Hindemith, Schoenberg and Bartók) and inspired him artistically in a very direct way.
