The king of horn-players at the Prague Castle

March 2010

Radek Baborák, as expected, was the star of the opening concert of the cycle “Music at the Prague Castle” held on 9th February 2010 in the Spanish Hall of Prague castle. However, he was not alone to excell: Georg Friedrich Händel’s Water Music features a number of solos for a whole group of horn players and the solos performed at this occasion were majestic.

He was accompanied by Capella Istropolitana conducted by Kaspar Zehnder, whose feeling for classicism is notable. The nobleness and harmony of his personality as well as the necessary discipline and the sense of finesse gave a truly unforgettable impression on this occasion.
